Lovegrove Consulting is committed to protecting your data and your privacy.

This Policy sets out when, why and how we might collect personal information about people who engage in our recruitment services (both clients and candidates), including the conditions under which we may disclose it to others, and how we keep it secure. By using our recruitment service, you’re agreeing to being bound by this Policy.

What data do we hold?

If you’ve dealt with us as part of the recruitment process, sent an enquiry (through the website, LinkedIn, via call or email) or registered to use our website (lovegroveconsulting.co.uk), then we’ll have some basic contact information. This would include at the very least your name, email address and your telephone number but may also include details around location preferences, education, employment history, website/portfolio, date of birth, address and current/preferred salary. This list is not exhaustive and we may hold further data which you’ve provided either through communicating with us, or it being on your CV. We could also hold this data if we’ve found you through any lawful and legitimate job board you’re signed up too where you are searchable to recruiters (such as Linkedin, MCV, GI.biz, Gamesjobsdirect, Indeed, etc).

We may also be required to obtain bank details, NI number and copy of passport/relevant visa documentation in the event of you securing an offer, but this will always only be done with your permission.

For existing and prospective clients, we may hold certain information to perform our duties. We’ve got a legitimate need to keep those details on file, but you can let us know how you’d prefer us to contact you (whether it’s by email, phone, or ATS system.) Get in touch if you’d like us to update your preferences.

When you join us a client, you’ll have access to personal data in the form of CVs and application we send over to you and your own privacy policies will apply to ensure the continued security of that data.

How is your information used?

The information provided will ultimately be used to help match candidates with suitable jobs and clients. We may also use it to make a job application to a client on your behalf, with your consent or to give you feedback on your application.

Who has access to your information?

Lovegrove Consulting staff have access to your information. We will not sell or rent your information to third parties. We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third Party Service Providers working on our behalf: We utilise a CRM (Recruit CRM) to process your data, where we can store your CV and any information you’ve given us such as contact details, portfolio links etc. You can read Recruit CRM’s commitment to GDPR statement here

We also work closely with LinkedIn as a way of communicating with you. Once your information is securely stored on our CRM, we may enable integration with LinkedIn whereby some very basic information (first name, job title etc.) is used to sync our communications and correspondence between the two platforms. This is the sole purpose, and LinkedIn work strictly in compliance with our instruction on this front.

Third Party Service Providers we work in association with: We work closely with several third parties (clients) to bring you our recruitment service. When you enquire about our service, and after giving us consent to represent you, the relevant third party/parties may receive your details and use it to assess your suitability in becoming employed by them. In some cases, they will be acting as a data controller of your information and therefore we advise you to read their Privacy Policy.
